Program Overview

Led by Cyber Forensics Laboratory and sponsored by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation
Gencyber Agent Academy is the first GenCyber camp in Connecticut and is open to 20 male and 20 female applicants. Cyber Agents accepted to this academy will enjoy a rigorous, student-centered, and enriching experience where they will learn essential skills which will prepare them for further study in cyber security. This academy is free of charge and funded by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation.

The camp includes the following courses:
  • Python
  • Cyber Forensics
  • Hacking Concepts
  • Internet of Things & Mobile
  • Network Defense
  • Cyber Career Catapult
Activities include:
  • Tour of campus, including IT offices and server rooms
  • Cyber scavenger hunt
  • Team cyber challenge

Eligibility

Participants must be entering 9th through 12th grade.
