Being a woman isn’t easy. The world of feminine hygiene is fraught with a plethora of discomforts and health challenges.
The health statistics say it all: 80 percent of women will be exposed to human papillomavirus (HPV); nearly 75 percent of all adult women will have at least one genital yeast infection; bacterial vaginosis (BV), the most common vaginal infection in women, affects 700,000 women; 40 percent of women will have at least one urinary tract infection (UTI) in their lifetime; one million women have a flare up of pelvic inflammatory disease each year; approximately one out of four women are infected with genital herpes; and half of all women over the age 40 will suffer from vaginal dryness at some time. "Dentsu recently developed a taste for bug protein.
What does this have to do with advertising?
TOKYO — A good deal has been written recently about the
nutritional and ecological benefits of adding protein from insects
to the human diet. But it still comes as a surprise when an ad
agency invests in the concept.
Dentsu Ventures, an investment arm of Dentsu with a capital
of ¥5 billion (around $45 million), just staked an undisclosed
sum in Exo, a New York-based company specializing in food
products that use cricket protein."

Golf must be more fun than it looks. I day dream about starting a STEAM Miniature Golf Competition.
It involves creating Miniature Golf Exhibits that incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. I believe learning should be fun.

It should be an indoor exhibit with a yearly theme. Arts and Ideas.

It can Celebrate the life of a great Thinker like Buckminster Fuller or a local hero

It's an ongoing exhibit that is used as a student Entrepreneurial Center kind of like Jr Achievement - Combined with SCORE.

Kids learn every aspect of running a business and cross train. The Profits are used for scholarship funds and to maintain the Not For Profit School and Competition....

It's Part of My Urban Underdog Entrepreneurial Program Ideas

Friendly Aquaponics, INC We’re inviting you to come to our training in California or Texas. Why, you might ask? OMG, I'd love to go - who knows

Friendly Aquaponics, Inc
Aloha DD,

We sent you a couple of emails within the last week, describing a special aquaponics technology training we are holding, and haven’t heard back from you. We’re sending this information again to make sure you see it. We know how busy your life is, and that sometimes you just don’t have time to read every email.

You might not have responded because you think your aquaponic dream is out of your reach. The most important thing we share during our trainings is how hard it was for us to learn everything necessary to have a profitable commercial aquaponics farm; because of that, it will be easy for you.

Here’s why: all the mistakes we made and had to recover from were first-time mistakes. We won’t ever make those mistakes again! And you won’t have to either, because with the knowledge you learn in our training, you can avoid all of those expensive mistakes.

You have us backing you, with our unlimited free lifetime technical support via email, and don’t need to worry if you have a question.

If you’re not interested, there’s an unsubscribe link at the bottom of this page; click it, and we’ll never darken your doorstep again.

We’re inviting you to come to our training in California or Texas. Why, you might ask? Because you’ll be able to do all this and more when you go home:

  • Grow huge amounts of safe, healthy food for your family in aquaponics systems that only require a small amount of space, miniscule amounts of water, and minimal electricity to run.

  • Take control of your food security and grow what you want during any season of the year.

  • Create a well-paying, clean, sustainable career now, in case your current employment doesn’t last as long as you expect. Everyone needs to eat, three times a day!

  • Take easy, simple steps now to increase your resiliency and self-sufficiency, and improve the quality of your life, instead of just waiting and hoping.

  • Best of all? Besides being the new aquaponics expert in your area after this course, you’ll be able to share your new knowledge with others in your community. This is because we encourage you to teach others in your community, and even let you use our manuals to do it with (details provided during the course).

Here’s why you’re going to be able to accomplish all these things after the course:

  • Your training, which is only $995 for the 3-day "Aquaponic Basics" (hundreds less than many others!), provides you better information - and a lot more of it - all easy to understand and use. You’ll save thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars by building a DIY aquaponics system, and we’ll show you how!

  • Your food: having good, healthy food available all year round is a huge incentive, and a huge benefit! Growing with aquaponics allows you to be certain your family’s food is not contaminated with industrial chemicals or pesticides.

  • Your money will go much farther with our technology! Our training  will show you how to build your own aquaponics system and greenhouse from inexpensive locally available materials, instead of expensive kits or greenhouses. You still have to build any kit, so why not spend far less of your hard-earned money and get a better installation, that you fully understand because you built it?

  • Your labor: we’ve had three farmers come to our course who spent 20+ years growing up on farms; their feedback was all the same after starting small commercial aquaponics farms of their own: “It’s half as much work, and my back doesn’t hurt anymore!” Aquaponics is far less work than growing in the ground, uses around 3% of the water, and around 10% of the energy!

  • Your success: You might be concerned about something preventing you from being successful with aquaponics. Our experience in aquaponics comes from operating our own profitable commercial aquaponics farm (unlike many of the others) and we supply the only unlimited lifetime free technical support in the industry. We’ll help you power through anything that might hinder your success!

For only $995 you get three days packed with all the commercial-scale aquaponics technology we’ve developed since 2007. Stay for the fourth day on energy-efficient greenhouse technology and the fifth day on how to make a profit with aquaponics for an additional $1,000, and take home everything we know with you.

Click this link to go to our webpage, which describes all the information that is included in your training.

If your mind is already made up, you can click here to sign up for the Texas training, or click here to sign up for the California training. Remember, if you want to bring a partner, a friend, a spouse, or your son or daughter (or all of them!), additional people get a 50% discount when you register.

If you need more information before you decide, click here to find out more about the Texas training, and click here to find out more about the California training.

If you have additional questions that our webpages can't answer before deciding to register for the course, please email Tim at training@friendlyaquaponics.com or email Susanne at friend@hawaiiantel.net. We’ll respond as soon as our busy lives allow, usually within just a few hours.
With Warm Aloha,

FDA banned Stevia not to safeguard you, but to insure corporate profits

Keyword non-patentable & Low Cost

The non-patentable, natural Stevia is the main competitor for a multi-billion dollar sweetener industry. If this sounds far-fetched, watch this excerpt from the documentary “Sweet Misery” on how the FDA initially banned Aspartame for 16 years, but Donald Rumsfeld – President of Searle and member of Reagan’s transition team – fired the FDA chief and put a puppet in his place who overturned Aspartame’s ban during his first day in office. Aspartame-patentholder Searle was sold to Monsanto – a major Aspartame producer.

Fluid dynamics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

How would I teach kids beginner Fluid Dynamics Classes - I'd start with marbles and Mazes, Making Pinball Machines, Making Marble Towers, Playing with sand mixed with water at different viscosities and getting it to coarse down ramps/shoots and ladders with curved adjustable steps. I'd let them make table top wind energy games - make wind move things, as it goes through a maze including lifting a wing. Eventually using smoke so the kids can see the air as a fluid. End up creating a fun wind circus. Where wind is harnessed and label all the physics concepts that are taking place.
These are just a few ideas I brainstormed over while thinking about how to interests kids in exploring fluid dynamics as a career.

The ideas with marbles, I owe to Bill Brown at the Eli Whitney he's a genius at making complex concepts into play at the  Eli Whitney Museum. In Hamden CT.

Dropping Eggs is so much fun and so educational. Dropping objects into fluids can teach you a lot about building structures to respond to force and think about the exterior of structures. Let kids learn physics and chemistry while having fun playing.

"In physicsfluid dynamics is a subdiscipline of fluid mechanics that deals with fluid flow—the natural science of fluids (liquids and gases) in motion. It has several subdisciplines itself, including aerodynamics (the study of air and other gases in motion) and hydrodynamics (the study of liquids in motion). Fluid dynamics has a wide range of applications, including calculating forces and moments on aircraft, determining the mass flow rate of petroleum through pipelines, predicting weatherpatterns, understanding nebulae in interstellar space and modelling fission weapon detonation. Some of its principles are even used in traffic engineering, where traffic is treated as a continuous fluid, and crowd dynamics.
Fluid dynamics offers a systematic structure—which underlies these practical disciplines—that embraces empirical and semi-empirical laws derived from flow measurement and used to solve practical problems. The solution to a fluid dynamics problem typically involves calculating various properties of the fluid, such asflow velocitypressuredensity, and temperature, as functions of space and time.
Before the twentieth century, hydrodynamics was synonymous with fluid dynamics. This is still reflected in names of some fluid dynamics topics, likemagnetohydrodynamics and hydrodynamic stability, both of which can also be applied to gases.[1]"  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluid_dynamics

I heard Werner Sobek say something about aeromodelling is a great foundation for light weight engineering. For making lighter stronger buildings.

DD - Aeromodelling is a 21st Century Applied Learning opportunity with tremendous bang for your tax payer buck. India and China are light years ahead of the USA because they have aeromodelling Clubs with thousands of members.

Our children are competing in a global Job Market. We need Physics Clubs, Chemistry Clubs, Fluid Dynamics Clubs, Hacker Clubs, Physics Go Kart Racing Clubs, Industrial Arts Engineering Clubs. The best Club ever is an Imagineers Club - where you brainstorm turning your research assignment into a board game.

All Clubs Should Have Electronic Monthly Electronic Jeopardy Game Quizzes. Why should quizes be a fun team sport.  We homeschoolers did it via Teresa Gallagher the queen of making learning fun.
Home Schooling parents know how to make learning fun. They don't have the burden of endless bureaucratic excess to deal with. They don't teach to tests. We want to teach kids how to think not what to think. My kids didn't study for the test and passed with flying colors.
Public School Curriculums are out of the 1930's and are a waste of tax payer money. Solving real world problems using applied learning in their communities. With teachers as coaches letting the students solve problems is how to create a nation of doers.

Public Schools need to unleash the magnificent Human Potential of children and stop pigeonholing 90% of their students who benefit from applied learning. America has created a school to prison pipeline. It's not politically correct to acknowledge/discuss this. Our children deserve better. We must turn around inner city schools by the creation of a blazing passion for entrepreneurship. This attitude can inspire those of us with employment skill gaps. We can liberate our children from mind numbing/shaming antiquated educational systems. You can wrap a solid curriculum around solving problems in their own communities. Start at home. Ignite, passion and for god sakes encourage children to explore why don't answer their questions. Teach them to think and not regurgitate test answers/drool on command like they are Pavlovian Dogs.

 https://www.whitehouse.gov/videos/2011/April/042011_CommencementChallenge_CA.mp4

Sorry for Criticising Public Schools but too many schools stink and traditional school is expensive, they could be so much better. This is in no way a criticism of teachers. I worship Teachers who Teach. I could have been a scientists instead of an educational advocate and professional volunteer. I'm not complaining. I'm a Dyslexic Johnny Appleseed.

This is an unedited Brain Fart - It hasn't been edited. I'm in a hurry and besides when I edit ideas I destroy them. So if anything I say offends, sorry. I'm an INTJ, I'm a weird woman.

Warning - Unedited brainstorm and it's not politically corrected yet. Warm Regards DD Vasseur

today. I hope I don't get stuck in traffic for hours

What is a circular economy? | The Buckminster Fuller Institute

The ever elusive search to implement an economic system that incorporates full-cost accounting, in other words, that incorporates the full cost of goods and services, including the environmental hazards, resource depletion and end-of-lifecycle costs is making leaps. The European Commission has put forth in their EU 2020 Strategy a suite of measures that will seek to lay the groundwork for a circular economy.
But what is a circular economy? The circular economy concept posits that the relationships between input, product and waste can be closed so that they are in a regenerative state. William McDonough has popularized a similar concept in his seminal text Cradle to Cradle, which recirculates a lot of industrial production theories once posited by Buckminster Fuller and other progenitors of the second industrial revolution."

House Guests, House Pests: A Natural History of Animals in the Home (Natural History Narratives) 1, Richard Jones - Amazon.com

Today we live in snug, well-furnished houses surrounded by the trappings of a civilized life. But we are not alone--we suffer a constant stream of unwanted visitors. Our houses, our food, our belongings, our very existence are under constant attack from a host of invaders eager to take advantage of our shelter, our food stores and our tasty soft furnishings.
From bats in the belfry to beetles in the cellar, moths in the wardrobe and mosquitoes in the bedroom, humans cannot escape the attentions of the animal kingdom. Nature may be red in tooth and claw, but when it’s our blood the bedbugs are after, when it’s our cereal bowl that’s littered with mouse droppings, and when it’s our favorite chair that collapses due to woodworm in the legs, it really brings it home the fact that we and our homes are part of nature too.
This book represents a 21st century version of the classic Medieval bestiary. It poses questions such as where these animals came from, can we live with them, can we get rid of them, and should we? Written in Richard Jones’s engaging style and with a funky-retro design, House Guests, House Pestswill be a book to treasure.

Ron Paul Issues Surprising Warning About Gold

Suggests new way to protect yourself from a financial crisis

You’ll never believe how bad the U.S. economy is until you hear Dr. Ron Paul explain what’s really happening with our money.
The former U.S. Congressman and Presidential Candidate recently sat down with Stansberry Research, a leading independent financial research firm, to warn the American people about what is in store for our country.

The Age of Sustainable Development: Jeffrey D. Sachs - E.O. Wilson says this book is his candidate for most important book in circulation. Wow!

The Age of Sustainable Development: Jeffrey D. Sachs, Ki-moon Ban: 9780231173155: Amazon.com: Books
Kindle Price:$22.99

Jeffrey D. Sachs is one of the world's most perceptive and original analysts of global development. In this major new work he presents a compelling and practical framework for how global citizens can use a holistic way forward to address the seemingly intractable worldwide problems of persistent extreme poverty, environmental degradation, and political-economic injustice: sustainable development.
Sachs offers readers, students, activists, environmentalists, and policy makers the tools, metrics, and practical pathways they need to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Far more than a rhetorical exercise, this book is designed to inform, inspire, and spur action. Based on Sachs's twelve years as director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University, his thirteen years advising the United Nations secretary-general on the Millennium Development Goals, and his recent presentation of these ideas in a popular online course, The Age of Sustainable Development is a landmark publication and clarion call for all who care about our planet and global justice.
